The moment we’ve all been waiting for…quilts!

July 11, 2010

Here’s what Mom has been working on!

I’d be willing to sleep in a twin bed for this quilt. I really hope Mom blogs about the making of these quilts someday (nothing like a public forum to put the pressure on, eh, mother dear?). You can tell from the pictures that she’s got a fantastic eye, but her creative process is astounding too.

Rail Fence Quilt 87 in. by 68 in.–perfect for a twin bed. Earthy greens, blues, browns and grays meld into a design workable in any room decor. Beautiful on the bed or hanging on the wall. Pieced in high quality quilting cottons. Creamy backing, machine quilted in a hand guided original pattern.

And check this one out! I continue to be amazed at how she realizes untold potential in fabrics.

On the Border 84 in. by 96 in. Queen size Quilt. A wealth of borders entices the eye outward from the bright floral center piece and back in again. Made of high quality quilting cottons and home dec fabrics. Buttery yellow backing. Hand guided machine quilting pattern.
